Are you an experienced Xactimate Estimator who takes pride in writing accurate, detailed estimates and getting claims approved?

Restoration Network is looking for a skilled Xactimate Estimator to join our growing estimating department. We're seeking someone who understands the restoration industry, has strong technical estimating skills, and knows how to work with insurance adjusters to move claims forward.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys estimating, solving problems, and working with a team that values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You'll work closely with our estimating team, project managers, and operations department to develop comprehensive scopes, negotiate with insurance carriers, and help ensure projects are properly estimated and approved.

• Xactimate Estimating: Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for fire, water, storm, vehicle impact, tree damage, and other property restoration projects.

• Scope Development: Review field documentation, photos, sketches, and reports to develop complete estimates that reflect actual job conditions.

• Insurance Negotiations: Communicate directly with insurance adjusters to negotiate estimates, resolve differences, and obtain approvals.

• Supplement Management: Identify missing scope items, prepare supplements, and follow through to secure appropriate approvals.

• Estimate Accuracy: Ensure estimates include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and applicable line items to maintain project profitability.

• TPA Compliance: Prepare and document estimates in accordance with insurance carrier and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) guidelines.

• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, field technicians, and the operations team to ensure estimates align with project requirements.

• Quality Control: Participate in peer reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain company estimating standards.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate notes, supporting documentation, and communication records within company systems.

• Timely Follow-Up: Proactively communicate with adjusters, customers, and internal team members to keep estimates and approvals moving forward.

• Technology: Utilize Xactimate, PSA, DocuSketch, MICA, and other restoration software to support accurate and efficient estimating.

• 3+ years of Xactimate estimating experience, preferably in the property restoration or insurance repair industry.

• Strong proficiency in Xactimate, including sketching, scope development, and estimate preparation.

• Experience estimating fire, water, and structural damage restoration projects.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, labor requirements, and restoration processes.

• Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters.

• Ability to identify missing scope items and prepare well-supported supplements.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working collaboratively with project managers, field teams, and other estimators.

• Experience with TPA programs and insurance carrier guidelines is preferred.
