This position requires full-time on-site availability in HERMOSILLO SON. MEX. (NOT A REMOTE POSITION)
In this role, you will collaborate closely with interviewers and the legal team to craft compelling personal declarations and statements that will support clients' immigration cases. Your writing will play a crucial part in shaping the legal narratives that help change lives. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in writing but who also brings empathy, attention to detail, and a desire to continuously improve their craft.
- Collaborate with interviewers to accurately write declarations, personal statements, and client narratives for immigration cases.
- Thoroughly review client interview answers and materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal standards.
- Ensure logical flow, clarity, and coherence in all written documents, making complex narratives clear and compelling.
- Draft final statements in both English and Spanish, ensuring accuracy in translation and meaning.
- Attend feedback sessions and implement revisions based on input from the legal team to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist with document preparation and editing to support the legal team, as needed.
- Stay up to date on relevant immigration laws, standards, and requirements to ensure accurate and compliant written materials.
- Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with the clients and team, ensuring clarity and understanding in both languages for accurate and efficient service.
- Proven experience in writing, editing, communication, or translation, with a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to craft factual, compelling narratives (samples of published or unpublished work required).
- Background in journalism, creative writing, copywriting, or related fields with a focus on creating clear, well-structured content.
- Strong critical reading and thinking skills, with the ability to analyze events, statements, and ideas to create coherent and factual narratives.
- Experience in reviewing and editing documents for accuracy, structure, and logical flow.
- Proficiency with standard office software and case management systems.
- Ability to handle constructive feedback and apply it to improve writing and process efficiency.
