SPIbelt was born in Austin, TX in 2006, when founder Kim Overton sewed a running belt prototype because she was tired of not knowing where to put her phone and keys. Today it's the original "Small Personal Item Belt," sold in over 40 countries and featured by Forbes, Oprah Daily, and Runner's World — and it's still independently owned and largely made right here in Austin.
Our mission is simple: help people move through their day — a run, a trip, managing a medical condition — without having to think about where their stuff is. We're small enough that your work is visible and your ideas matter, but established enough to have real reach and a loyal following. If you want to build products that genuinely make people's lives easier, not just look good in an ad, you'll fit right in here.
