Our historic private club is searching for servers with a welcoming smile and a positive customer service attitude to set the tone for our member dining experiences. You will serve our members by ensuring they are greeted by name, their orders are received and delivered in a timely manner, and that our rooms are ready for our next service/event. Our servers are committed to providing a great customer experience to our membership, and our ideal applicant maintains a professional and polite approach toward both members and employees. Responsibilities

Work as a team to set up for upcoming functions.

Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions

Qualifications

Prior fine dining/club experience is preferred.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
Prior food service industry experience is highly desired

Compensation

$20 hourly
