Vinyl Installer — Vehicle Wraps & Signs
Skyline Sign & Wrap • Lake Stevens, WA, US
Posted 4 hours ago
Build a real trade. We'll train you from day one — and show you exactly how to get your next raise.
Skyline Sign & Wrap is a four-person sign and vehicle wrap shop in Lake Stevens. We wrap fleets and personal vehicles, and we build and install ACM, Coroplast, banners, window graphics, storefront signage, and trade show displays for businesses across North Puget Sound. You'll work side by side with the owner and our in-house designer, and see your work on the road every day.
Why this job
No experience? No problem. We've built a written career path for installers: five levels, each with clear skills, evaluations, and pay steps. If you like working with your hands and take pride in clean details, this is a trade, not just a job.
What we offer
$18–$25/hour to start, based on experience, with a clear raise path
Paid, hands-on training
A written five-level installer career and pay path
Cross-training in PPF and window tinting
Paid time off (accrual begins after 90 days) and 6 paid holidays per year
A small, tight-knit team where your work is noticed
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional early starts, evenings or Saturdays for fleet jobs.
What you'll do
Install vinyl on vehicles: full and partial wraps, fleet graphics, lettering, decals, and color changes
Install window graphics, wall graphics, ACM/Dibond panels, Coroplast, banners and storefront lettering
Prep surfaces: wash, degrease, remove hardware and old graphics
Trim, weed, laminate, and mask printed vinyl in the shop
Load, transport, and install on-site, including work on ladders and lifts
Remove old wraps and graphics without damaging paint or surfaces
Keep the shop, tools, and install bay clean and organized
Pitch in wherever the team needs it
What we're looking for
Strong attention to detail: you spot a bubble, crooked line, or lifted edge first
Patience and steady hands; you'd rather do it right than do it twice
Reliable and on time, every time
Coachable: you take feedback well and want to improve
A team player with a good attitude, even on long installs
Able to stand, kneel, bend, and reach for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable on ladders and at heights
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Basic computer and smartphone skills
Nice to have (not required)
Vehicle wrap or sign installation experience
Paint protection film (PPF) or window tint experience
Hands-on trade background: auto body, detailing, construction, painting, flooring, or similar
3M, Avery Dennison, or other manufacturer installer training
Compensation
$18 - $25 hourly
