If you have experience in estate planning and probate, you may be an excellent addition to our growing law firm. We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full-time. As our estate planning and probate attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families, and also assist families with probate matters when a loved one has passed.

To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. The applicant we are looking for must have extensive knowledge of estate planning and probate issues. If this sounds like you, please apply!

Responsibilities

Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
Educate clients about options for retirement, donating to charity, and purchasing insurance
Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets
Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date

Qualifications

Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 2-3 years

4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position
Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations

Compensation

$112,000 - $120,000/year
