• Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clinical hours/week
• Provide individual, group, and/or couples/family counseling
• Must be available some evenings (if in-person work)
• Provide psychoeducation lectures and networking as needed
• Attend monthly staff and case consultation meetings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MA/MS or PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field
• Registered and/or licensed to practice psychotherapy in Iowa
• Clinical interest in sex and sexuality, addiction, and trauma
• A high degree of presence and confidence in the room
• Ability to provide clinical containment for individuals and couples in crisis
• Expertise working with couples and groups
• Specialized training in trauma treatment (various trauma modalities appropriate)
• Comfort providing psychoeducation and directive interventions

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• ASPATS or CPTT trained betrayal trauma certification for working with partners of sex addicts, or willing to pursue certification
• Addiction/recovery experience and 12-step knowledge
• CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) or willing to pursue certification
• Training in the delivery of telehealth services
