Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between tax authorities and the client, submitting the final tax forms on their behalf
Handle tax filing in an organized, secure manner to ensure each client's privacy is protected

Examine every client’s financial records, such as their income statements and previous tax returns, to calculate their total amount of taxable income
Use all eligible tax benefits for the client
Communicate with tax authorities and submit the final tax return on the client’s behalf
Provide guidance for future taxes and help them make a plan for the upcoming year to save as much money as possible
Inform customers about the process for submitting their income tax returns and be clear about the deadlines to ensure clients' taxes are filed on time

Qualifications

Must have a college degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Has a valid PTIN from the Internal Revenue Service
5+ years of work experience in tax consulting at an accounting firm or consulting firm
Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
Must have a college degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field

Compensation

$50,000 - $60,000/year
