Are you an enthusiastic worker with strong organization and customer service skills? Then you could be what we are looking for in a server assistant/busser. You will work closely with our servers and help them deliver food to customers’ tables, as well as clear, clean, and reset each table with tableware to get it ready for the next party. You’ll bring customers to their tables, address their inquiries, and alert servers when their attention is needed. You should be familiar with the menu as well as food safety rules. Attention to detail and organization is important since you’ll be regularly restocking items in the kitchen and server stations. If you have some food service experience, like working in a fast-paced setting and closely with team members, apply for this role as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

Serve customers water, and other beverages, bring drinks to them, and make sure all condiments are refilled and placed on the table
Bring customers to their tables, communicate with customers regarding any special needs, and relay any issues to the waiter
Clear dirty dishes from tables, clean tables, and prepare for the next guests by resetting tables with clean silverware and napkins
Responsible for delivering food to the table on time, making sure to ask if customers need anything more before leaving
Responsible for ensuring kitchen and server stations are kept fully stocked with condiments and all necessary items

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or possess an equivalent GED
Familiarity with proper handling of food and drinks and kitchen equipment
Previous food service industry or QSR experience is preferred but not mandatory
Comfortable with frequent, extended periods of standing, lifting, and bending for the entire shift and/or closing
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays and to help out with extra shifts as needed

Compensation

$13 - $15/hour
