You should be comfortable talking with customers and answering any maintenance questions they have. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a pool maintenance technician and is proficient in swimming pool chemicals and their properties. Responsibilities

Skim debris from the water's surface, brush the sides and bottom of the pool, and vacuum dirt and debris from the pool floor
Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, and report any issues to the supervisor
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backwashing filters and cleaning skimmer baskets

Maintain record of paperwork and services performed
Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters
Advise customers on best preventative maintenance practices
Review results of water’s pH levels and add or maintain chemicals if necessary

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required
Previous experience as a pool technician and understanding of common pool maintenance techniques, chemicals, and equipment
Candidate must have high school diploma or GED
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and dexterity are required
Candidate must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions

Compensation

$50,000 - $55,000 yearly
