The Splasher’s Cook will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

($250 signing bonus after successfully fulfilling the role for 30 days)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare the basic components of each dish on the menu using proven recipes.
• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen.
• Ensure kitchen, food prep areas, and food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.
• Work with the team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on a schedule created by the restaurant.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
• A certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
• Ability to grasp, lift overhead, and/or carry 40 lbs. maximum.
• Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Working outdoors in inclement weather is required
