We are seeking a highly organized and experienced senior-level Title Processor to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of recent title and settlement experience and be fully capable of managing residential and commercial real estate transactions from opening through settlement, recording, and disbursement.

This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers.

Compensation, Benefits, and Work Schedule

  • Annual salary of $115,000–$150,000, based on experience and qualifications

  • Additional commissions on transactions personally brought to the company

  • Eligibility for an annual performance bonus

  • Regular working hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with flexibility to work beyond those hours when transaction demands require

  • Primarily an in-office position at our Falls Church location, with the potential to work remotely one to two days per week depending on the schedule and operational needs

  • Occasional evening or mobile settlements may be required

  • Independently manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract receipt through settlement, recording, and disbursement.

  • Open and maintain files in Qualia, ensuring all documents, communications, deadlines, and file information are complete, accurate, and current.

  • Review purchase contracts, lender instructions, title examinations, surveys, tax records, HOA or condominium documents, and other transaction materials.

  • Order and obtain title searches, surveys, payoff statements, lien releases, HOA documents, judgments, tax information, and other items required for settlement.

  • Prepare and revise title commitments and identify, communicate, and resolve title defects and outstanding requirements.

  • Coordinate directly with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, underwriters, and other parties to keep transactions on schedule.

  • Prepare, review, and balance Closing Disclosures, ALTA Settlement Statements, and other settlement documents with lenders and transaction parties.

  • Prepare complete and accurate closing packages and ensure all lender, underwriting, and company requirements are satisfied before settlement.

  • Conduct or assist with in-office settlements and clearly explain closing documents to buyers and sellers.

  • Confirm receipt of all required funds and properly executed documents before authorizing recording or disbursement.

  • Coordinate recording and disbursement and promptly resolve funding, recording, or post-closing issues.

  • Maintain consistent communication with all parties and take full ownership of assigned files, deadlines, and outstanding requirements.

  • Manage multiple active transactions and competing deadlines accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of Qualia.

  • Minimum of five years of recent, hands-on experience independently processing and closing real estate transactions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage residential and commercial transactions from opening through closing.

  • Strong knowledge of title commitments, title requirements, Closing Disclosures, ALTA Settlement Statements, lender instructions, recording, and disbursement.

  • Exceptional organization, accuracy, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of active files and competing deadlines with limited supervision.

  • Virginia notary commission preferred; willingness and eligibility to obtain one required.

Compensation

$115,000 - $150,000 yearly
