Senior Tax Attorney
The Tax Law and Automation Firm • Remote
Posted 20 hours ago
Tax Law & Automation (TLA) is seeking a highly skilled tax attorney with at least five years of experience who wants to work on sophisticated tax matters while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote environment.
This position is ideal for an attorney who has developed a strong technical foundation and is looking for broader exposure to complex transactional tax work. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in M&A transactions, entity structuring and restructuring, tax planning, partnership taxation, and business advisory work, not solely tax controversy representation.
At TLA, attorneys work directly with business owners, executives, CPAs, financial advisors, and other professionals throughout the country. Our clients rely on us to deliver practical solutions to complex tax issues while serving as long-term strategic advisors.
This role requires 1,800 billable hours annually and offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership on matters that have a direct impact on clients' businesses and financial outcomes.
If you are looking for a position that combines sophisticated tax work, client interaction, professional growth, and the flexibility of a remote practice, we encourage you to apply.
What Makes This Role Different
Fully Remote Without Sacrificing Sophistication: Many remote legal positions involve repetitive work with limited client interaction. At TLA, you'll actively participate in high-value planning engagements, transactions, and advisory matters while working from wherever you are most productive.
Exposure to the Full Spectrum of Tax Practice: Our attorneys are not siloed into a single niche. You'll work across transaction planning, entity restructurings, tax advisory projects, opinion work, and selective tax controversy matters, creating a broader and more valuable skillset.
Technology-Driven Practice: TLA was built around the belief that technology and automation should support attorneys, not replace them. We continually invest in systems and processes designed to reduce administrative inefficiencies and allow attorneys to focus on high-value legal work.
