The Estate Plan is seeking an experienced Florida-licensed Probate & Estate Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team.

This is a fully remote position offering competitive compensation, flexibility, and the support of an established legal and operations team. You'll take ownership of meaningful probate, trust, estate planning, and litigation matters while working in a modern, paperless, technology-driven law firm. The Estate Plan is seeking an experienced Florida-licensed Probate & Estate Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team.

You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and a dedicated legal team to deliver exceptional client outcomes. This fully remote position offers you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life effectively. You'll take ownership of meaningful probate, trust, estate planning, and litigation matters while working in a modern, paperless, technology-driven law firm.

Billable Hours & Performance

We believe in being transparent about performance expectations from the beginning.

Attorneys are expected to meet a quarterly target of 390 billable hours, which averages approximately 33 billable hours per week over a 13-week quarter.

Our attorneys are supported by paralegals, legal assistants, established systems, and an operations team so they can spend more of their time focused on substantive legal work and client representation.

Attorneys who exceed the quarterly billable-hour target may also qualify for additional performance-based compensation.

• Manage probate and estate administration cases from start to finish
• Handle probate and trust litigation, including contested estates, fiduciary disputes, partitions, guardianships, and creditor claims
• Lead and oversee estate planning matters, including trusts, wills, and advanced planning strategies
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, evidential hearings, and other court proceedings
• Analyze complex client situations and develop strategic legal solutions
• Guide clients through trust funding and asset alignment with estate plans
• Maintain and organize client files while ensuring compliance with deadlines
• Conduct client consultations to evaluate their needs and determine if and how the firm can assist them
• Enter time and billing records accurately and in a timely manner
• Delegate and supervise work assigned to paralegals and legal staff
• Monitor case progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are met
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to improve firm systems and workflows
• Participate in business development and community engagement activities

• Experience in probate and estate administration, with a proven ability to manage cases from start to finish.
• Proven track record of handling probate and trust litigation, including contested estates and fiduciary disputes.
• Ability to lead and oversee estate planning matters, including drafting trusts, wills, and advanced planning strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Experience representing clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings.
• Ability to analyze complex client situations and develop strategic legal solutions.
• Experience guiding clients through trust funding and asset alignment with estate plans, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
