Responsibilities
- Pick up 4–6 live inbound refi calls every weekday — first to answer wins the loan
- Quote two-scenario refi structures live, on the call, using F5's Quote Studio
- Lock and submit refi files into Pylon, UWM, or whichever of F5's 30+ wholesale lenders fits the deal
- Push every file to clear-to-close inside Command — your dedicated loan coordinator handles conditions and doc collection
- Re-engage your closed book when Refi Finder fires rate-trigger alerts — every loan you close becomes a future refi
- Hold core hours (Mon–Wed 9 AM–6 PM, Thu–Fri 9 AM–5 PM local) and show up for the morning team huddle in Roam
- Stay TCPA- and state-compliant on every conversation, every file
- Close. That's the whole job.
- Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs
- Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business
- Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements
- Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters
- Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
Qualifications
REQUIRED — apply if this is you
- Active NMLS license in at least one of F5's 10 states: CA, CO, FL, GA, MI, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA
- 2+ years originating in retail or wholesale mortgage. Refi-heavy strongly preferred — purchase is a bonus, refi is the lane this seat lives in
- A real track record of personal closed production. We will ask for your last 12 months in numbers, not adjectives
- You like the phone. You're not "warming up to it" — you just pick it up
- Quiet, dedicated remote workspace and a real workstation (not a coffee shop, not a kitchen counter)
- Comfort quoting, structuring, and closing in real time without "let me get back to you."
- Comfort with software that ships features weekly — you don't need a 90-day onboarding cohort to learn a new tool
- A degree is not required. Production is.

- You secretly love your realtor pipeline more than your phone
- You blame your last shop's bad leads or bad pricing for your slow months
- You need a branch manager to tell you who to call today
- Your first interview question is "What's the comp tier structure?" — there is no tier
- You think "remote" means "off the clock by noon."
- You can't pass a recent background or credit screen — we do both before we onboard
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
- Multiple years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
- Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies
- Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry
- Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred
Compensation
$125,000 - $225,000/year
