Senior Legal Assistant
A busy, established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to work directly with our Associate Attorney. This is a senior-level, in-person position that combines executive assistant responsibilities with legal practice support. We need someone who is highly organized, proactive, dependable, and capable of taking ownership of a demanding workload without requiring constant direction.

Manage the calendar, meetings, deadlines and appointments to help keep cases on track
Coordinate correspondence, communications, and follow-up
Track commitments and ensure important matters are completed
Prepare, revise, proofread, and organize documents
Maintain confidential and sensitive information
Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems
Assist attorneys and paralegals with daily case management tasks while gaining valuable hands-on legal experience
Support client intake by gathering, reviewing, and organizing documentation
Maintain and organize both physical and electronic case files
Prepare and format legal correspondence and basic legal documents
Communicate with clients regarding document requests and case updates
Track case progress and help ensure deadlines are met
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry
Provide general support to the legal team to help maintain an efficient workflow
Ideally 7+ years of law firm experience preferred, but not required
Prior experience as a legal assistant, administrative, or support role preferred
Bankruptcy experience is a plus but not required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to independently manage competing priorities
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work in-person and collaborate effectively with colleagues
Compensation
$65,000 - $80,000 yearly
