Cannon & Associates is seeking a Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our Edmond team of Fierce Advocates.

We are not a traditional law firm. We are a team of professionals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of clients while building a workplace where people are challenged, supported, and valued. Our Family Law team helps clients navigate some of the most difficult and emotional experiences they will ever face, and we are committed to providing exceptional service with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

The Senior Paralegal we hire will be a leader on our Family Law team: a trusted partner to our attorneys, a steady guide for clients, and a mentor who helps shape the culture of our team. This role is for a seasoned professional who can own complex matters from intake to resolution with minimal oversight, and who takes equal pride in developing the paralegals and legal assistants around them. The ideal candidate brings deep Oklahoma family law experience, sound judgment, and polished communication skills, along with the patience to teach, the confidence to lead by example, and a real commitment to building a team where people want to stay and grow.

At Cannon & Associates, we believe great results come from great people working together. We value teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and leveraging technology to better serve clients. If you are looking for a firm where your experience is recognized, your leadership shapes the people around you, and your professional growth is supported, we would love to hear from you.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, helping them feel heard, understood, and supported, and handle escalated or sensitive client situations with professionalism and care

Mentorship & Team Development

  • Mentor, train, and coach paralegals and legal assistants, serving as the go-to resource for questions on Oklahoma family law procedure and firm best practices

  • Assist in onboarding for new paralegals and legal assistants, helping them learn our systems, standards, and client-service expectations

  • Review drafts and work product from junior team members and provide clear, constructive, and encouraging feedback

  • Help balance workload across the support team and identify where teammates need additional training or support

  • Lead by example with a positive, solutions-focused attitude in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Champion continuous improvement by refining team workflows, templates, checklists, and Clio processes, and documenting best practices for others to follow

  • Take an active role in team meetings, quarterly retreats, and firm initiatives, and help welcome and integrate new team members

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards, and set the example for the team in handling sensitive information
