Toberman Becker Wealth is seeking an experienced financial planning support professional to join our growing team.
- Base salary: $120,000–$140,000, based on 8+ years of experience and qualifications.
- Work arrangement: Remote, hybrid, or primarily in-office, based on employee preference.
- Location: Employee must reside in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area or Southern Illinois to support periodic team meetings and training.
- 401(k): 3% annual Safe Harbor employer contribution, 100% immediately vested.
- PTO: Four weeks annually.
- Health insurance: At this time, the firm does not offer an employer-sponsored health insurance plan. The firm provides a competitive overall package through strong compensation, workplace flexibility, and employer-funded 401(k) contributions that do not require employee contributions.
Responsibilities
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the client experience, keeping important details moving, and helping a growing advisory firm operate at a high level.
- Client relationship support: Own the day-to-day client service experience by anticipating needs, building trust, managing expectations, and coordinating timely resolution across firm resources.
- Client experience: Manage client onboarding and deliver a consistent, proactive, white-glove service experience.
- Meeting support: Organize meeting materials and planning packets, coordinate document collection, prepare follow-up summaries and implementation plans, and track advisor commitments.
- Financial planning support: Collect, organize, and maintain financial planning data, planning software records, and client planning deliverables.
- Planning operations: Coordinate planning-related workflows, including tax document collection, RMDs, QCDs, Roth conversions, contributions, insurance reviews, and beneficiary review cycles.
- Account operations: Open and service accounts through Schwab Advisor Center, including transfers, money movement, distributions, contributions, rollovers, and account maintenance.
- Workflow and operational leadership: Maintain accurate CRM records, manage recurring workflows, monitor deadlines, document procedures, support compliance readiness, and lead process improvements that enhance client service and firm efficiency.
Qualifications
The right candidate will bring strong wealth management experience, exceptional organization, and genuine satisfaction in keeping client service, planning support, and firm operations running smoothly.
- Experience: 8+ years of wealth management, financial services, RIA operations, or client service experience.
- Client service: Experience supporting high-net-worth clients and delivering a premium client experience.
- Financial knowledge: Knowledge of financial planning concepts, retirement accounts, and wealth management operations.
- Custodial and account operations: Experience with custodial platforms, account administration, and related service workflows.
- Technology: Experience with CRM systems, workflow management, and DocuSign or similar electronic signature tools.
- Organization and execution: Exceptional organizational skills, project management ability, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Leadership mindset: Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, process-oriented thinking, and a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
