We are seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for hotel guests, employees, and rooftop restaurant guests. Responsibilities include monitoring the property, conducting regular patrols, monitoring entrances and common areas, responding to incidents, assisting with guest concerns, and enforcing hotel safety and security procedures. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, calm under pressure, and has excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous hotel, restaurant, or security experience is preferred.

• Patrol hotel and rooftop restaurant areas and monitor security cameras, alarms, and fire/life safety systems.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property.

• Respond to accidents, emergencies, disturbances, safety hazards, and security incidents; contact emergency services or provide First Aid/CPR when needed.

• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and provide professional customer service.

• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards, thefts, accidents, and suspicious activity.

• De-escalate guest and employee disturbances and escort unauthorized or unwelcome individuals from the property when necessary.

• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required security documentation.

• Conduct investigations, gather information/evidence, and interview individuals when appropriate.

• Maintain confidentiality of security information and protect hotel assets.

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.

• Maintain professional communication and positive working relationships with guests, employees, and management.

• Remain physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods and responding quickly to emergencies, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces.

• Previous security, hotel, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.

• Valid security license/certification, if required by applicable law.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Ability to remain calm and use good judgment in stressful situations.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Basic incident-reporting and computer skills.
