What You'll Do

As a Sales Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. Your role is to understand their goals, educate them on their options, and help them choose products that fit their needs and budget.


You'll have the opportunity to:

Experience in automotive accessories or sales is helpful, but it isn't required. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and create a professional, welcoming experience
  • Build rapport and identify customer needs through effective questioning
  • Recommend vehicle upgrades, accessories, safety products, and technology solutions that fit the customer's goals and budget
  • Prepare accurate quotes and present options confidently
  • Follow up on leads, estimates, and unsold opportunities to maximize closing percentage
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of current products, vehicle applications, and industry trends
  • Coordinate with installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to delivery
  • Manage customer communications throughout the sales and installation process
  • Assist with merchandising, showroom appearance, and product displays
  • Utilize CRM and point-of-sale systems to document customer interactions and track opportunities
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and proactively
  • Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
  • Participate in ongoing sales training, product training, and team meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performance team culture

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in commissioned sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or other performance-driven environments preferred
  • Automotive, powersports, truck accessory, electronics, or retail sales experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and guiding customers through the sales process
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive mindset
  • Ability to learn technical products and explain them in a simple, customer-friendly way
  • Goal-oriented and driven to meet or exceed performance expectations
  • Organized with strong follow-up and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player who works well with both customers and installation staff
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn point-of-sale and CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the showroom during scheduled shifts

Compensation

$48,000 - $80,000/year
