Description

We are seeking a Retail Trainer to join our team and help develop the skills of our retail staff. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging classroom training programs, provide hands-on coaching, and ensure employees have the knowledge and tools needed to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.

You will lead orientations, provide ongoing support, and create a smooth onboarding experience for new team members. Reporting to the District Manager, this position is ideal for a dynamic trainer who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about developing talent and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Offer ongoing coaching and feedback during onboarding and beyond to support employee growth
Participate in retail meetings to remain informed about company updates and training initiatives
Complete required new hire documentation, including the employer section of Form I-9, and maintain consistent communication with Store and District Managers regarding paperwork and training progress
Use training documentation to monitor new hire progress and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders
Partner with Store Managers to customize training based on store needs, including material processing, stocking, customer service, register operations, and store cleanliness

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be disabled or disadvantaged
Proven experience in teaching, training, or group facilitation, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learners
Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in high-pressure situations

Compensation

$46,000/year
