We are searching for a host/hostess with outstanding customer service skills—someone who is a real people person. You possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with others in a fast-paced team environment. You should enjoy welcoming guests to our establishment and guiding them to an appropriate table, ensuring that it is cleared and clean. Make sure there are enough seats for everyone. You’ll need a friendly, courteous manner to answer phone calls and make accurate reservations for guests. Responsibilities

Respond to questions about the menu and memorize the daily specials whenever needed
Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low
Direct customers to their seats, ensuring tables are set properly with enough tableware for each diner, water glasses are filled, and menus are sanitized
Acknowledge all customers warmly immediately upon arrival to ensure their first impression of the restaurant is positive
Make reservations, plan out the seating chart, and troubleshoot customer phone inquiries

Qualifications

Able to work the PM Shift

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language
Adapt easily to working in a fast-paced team environment with long hours of standing on feet and moving around
Skills needed for this role include excellent people skills, time management, organization skills, and the ability to handle customer requests and situations quickly with a pleasant demeanor
Some restaurant, hospitality, and/or food services industry experience is preferred
