We need a hardworking person who can get in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. - After unloading the dishwasher, return utensils and plates to their proper locations
- Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols
- Mop and clean kitchen floors daily to keep the workplace neat and sanitary
- Ensure appropriate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies while also keeping track of dishwashing machine mechanical problems
- Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine
- Great physical health and stamina
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
Compensation
$16.50 hourly
Conveniently located in downtown Binghamton’s business and government districts. Accessible from all major highways, our inviting Binghamton hotel is situated near the confluence of the Chenango and Susquehanna Rivers.
