Prado’s Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for a dependable and skilled Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing service team.

We’re looking for someone who understands that being a great technician is about more than diagnosing equipment. It’s about showing up prepared, treating customers with respect, solving problems correctly, and standing behind your work.

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you’ll work directly with homeowners throughout the community, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential heating and cooling systems.

Pay & Benefits

$30–$42 per hour

Pay will be based on experience, certifications, technical ability, and overall qualifications. Additional earning opportunities may include overtime and performance-based incentives.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair residential heating and air-conditioning systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant issues

• Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential problems

• Perform system testing and verify proper operation

• Explain findings and repair options clearly to homeowners

• Complete service calls professionally and efficiently

• Maintain accurate service documentation

• Keep your vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized

• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer specifications

• Work closely with dispatch, installation, and management teams

• Provide an excellent customer experience from arrival through completion

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

• Experienced in residential HVAC service

• Comfortable troubleshooting heating and cooling systems

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Professional when working in customers’ homes

• A strong communicator

• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious

• Comfortable working independently

• Willing to continue learning and developing technical skills

• Able to work occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency calls when needed

• EPA certification is preferred. Relevant HVAC certifications or licensing are a plus.

• A valid driver’s license and dependable driving record are required.
