Must live within 30 minutes of Westbrook, Maine, for on-call requirement.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our residential properties in top condition. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine and emergency maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly and professionally
  • Conducting property inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Preparing units for move-in and ensuring timely unit turnover, including painting, patching, cleaning, and repairs
  • Responding to work orders professionally
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and working collaboratively with the on-site team
  • Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
  • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
  • Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
  • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
Qualifications
  • Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
  • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
  • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
Compensation
$23.50 - $25 hourly
