What You’ll Be Doing

• Evaluate new property acquisitions and recommend project scope: remodel, addition, or new build
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and city officials to finalize plans and ensure code compliance
• Create project timelines, budgets, material take-offs, and bid packages for subcontractors
• Oversee daily operations at job sites, ensuring work quality, safety, and adherence to schedule
• Coordinate inspections, resolve site issues, and ensure permits are secured and closed out
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to manage expectations and timelines
• Track costs, monitor change orders, and report on project progress to leadership

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in residential construction or remodeling
• 3+ years of project management experience with full-cycle accountability
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, trades, materials, and deadlines
• Familiarity with permitting and zoning in Ann Arbor

Preferred Experience

• Familiar with EOS, Gantt scheduling, and digital project management tools
• Existing relationships with Michigan-based GCs and subcontractors
• Knowledge of local building codes
