Residential Construction Consultant

One Week Bath • Los Angeles, CA, US

Posted 1 hour ago

One Week Bath is looking for a Residential Construction Consultant: someone who understands bathroom remodeling well enough to price a job accurately and sell it with real conviction.

To be considered, you bring all of this:

  • Real residential remodeling experience: you owned or ran a remodeling business, or you have deep hands-on time in the trade

  • You price a job, not just sell it: you know how design and materials drive labor and cost

  • A track record closing high-ticket work: you've personally sold jobs in the $35K to $100K+ range

  • Genuine design sense: you can talk through what looks good and works in a client's home

  • You sell in person: your best work happens at the client's kitchen table, not behind a desk

We're a custom design-build bathroom remodeler serving Los Angeles and the surrounding area. Over 25 years, we've built more than 5,000 bathrooms with one in-house crew that handles every job from design to finished build.

Qualified leads come to us. Once one of our consultants is in the home, we sign the job 80 to 90% of the time. We're hiring another consultant who can hold that standard and price the work so it stays profitable after the crew shows up.

If you've built, priced, and sold remodeling work and you'd rather be in a client's home than behind a desk, we want to talk to you.

WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE
You'll run in-home appointments with qualified homeowners across Los Angeles and the surrounding area. At each one, you assess the job, price it on our pricing system, and close it in the home. No estimator or sales manager comes with you, so you need to know construction well enough to see what a request means for the build, like when a design change requires removing a wall. The pricing system often lands on a high number for a premium bathroom, and you need to sell that price with confidence. Pricing below the system or designing beyond it cuts into the job's profit once the crew starts work. This role has a monthly sales minimum, and our top consultants sign eight to ten jobs a month. If your background is sales without construction, this role isn't a fit.

WHO BELONGS HERE

  • Following our pricing system comes first. Once you've shown you can sell the number it sets, your input on it carries weight.

  • You manage your own calendar, follow-up, and proposals without anyone reminding you.

  • When a client asks for custom work, you price it honestly and work with them to find where it fits their budget.

  • Clients remember how the appointment felt long after they forget the quote, so you treat every first visit as the start of a job they'll recommend to friends.

  • Protecting profit on every job is part of how you sell. You hold the price in the room and don't discount to get a signature.

PAY AND PATH
This role pays a $110,000 base salary plus 2.5% commission on every dollar of work you sign. Commission is upside, and there is no draw against it. Your earnings depend on how much you sell and the size of each job.

A strong closer earns about $250,000 a year. Top closers, who sell premium bathrooms at high volume, earn $300,000 to $350,000. At our average ticket, that means signing eight to ten jobs a month. Larger jobs pay more commission, so your earnings go up with the size of what you sell.

WHY WORK AT ONE WEEK BATH

  • Base salary plus commission and override

  • Health insurance: HMO included, PPO or family coverage available at extra cost

  • PTO

  • Flexible schedule: roughly 10% in-office, 50 to 60% in the field with in-home client appointments, the rest from a home office

  • Qualified, company-provided leads. This isn't a cold-calling seat.

  • A pricing system built to keep every job profitable, so you sell with a number you can stand behind

  • Run in-home appointments with qualified, company-provided leads across Los Angeles and the surrounding area

  • Assess each job in the home, including construction impact such as blowing out a wall

  • Price every job on the One Week Bath pricing system

  • Talk clients through design choices that look good and work in their home

  • Close the job in the home at the number the system sets

  • Price custom requests honestly and find where they meet the client's budget

  • Own your calendar, lead follow-up, and proposals

  • Put at least $200,000 in signed work on the board every month

  • Protect the margin on every ticket without discounting to close

  • Real residential remodeling experience: you owned or ran a remodeling business, or you have deep hands-on time in the trade

  • Ability to price a job, not just sell it, with an understanding of how design and materials drive labor and cost

  • A track record personally closing high-ticket work in the $35K to $100K+ range

  • Genuine design sense: you can talk through what looks good and works in a client's home

  • Strong in-person selling at the client's kitchen table

  • Established in the greater Los Angeles area (no relocation)

Not Required

  • A college degree

  • Prior experience at a franchised remodeler. If you've built, priced, and sold high-end residential work, you can learn our product fast.

  • Bathroom-specific experience. Kitchen, cabinet, and other remodeling experience counts.

Compensation

$110,000

One Week Bath is a custom design-build bathroom remodeler serving Los Angeles and the surrounding area. We know what most people expect from a remodel: surprise costs, subcontractors who never show up, and a home torn apart for months with no end in sight. We built our whole process to be the opposite of that. One team designs the bathroom right in the client's home, gets to know exactly what they want, and then builds it start to finish, with the price and schedule locked in before a single wall comes down. No handing clients off between departments, no guessing who's showing up on a given day. Just one crew, one plan, and a bathroom that looks exactly like what the client asked for.
