We are a Traverse City home builder with a flooring and cabinet store and we are looking for a Receptionist/Retail Sales Specialist to join our team. If you are willing to learn, have the ability to multitask, and thoroughly enjoy interacting with others, we look forward to hearing from you. This would be a full-time salaried position plus commission.

• Greet clients as they come in for appointments.

• Answer and direct phone calls.

• Engage with customers to understand their flooring and cabinet needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their living spaces.

• Guide clients through the selection process, offering expert advice on materials, styles, and installation options.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of flooring products.

• Track and manage sales leads, following up promptly to convert inquiries into sales opportunities and meet sales targets consistently.

• Attention to detail and keen organizational skills are needed.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet skills.

• Knowledge of cabinets and flooring is a plus, but not required; we are willing to train the right person.
