We are growing rapidly and are looking for someone to help us clear titles for real estate mortgage transactions. Responsibilities

Perform real estate closings with buyers and sellers, explaining documents throughout the process.

Collaborate with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statements
Provide title officers with clerical and data entry support, as well as administrative assistant essential duties
Enter and submit title and loan documents into software programs to track applicant’s progress
Liaise with pre-processor to be sure all items are complete, settlement processor or paralegal to ensure all settlement figures are correct, and with the post-closing agent to ensure the transaction is recorded and any outstanding issues are resolved
Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title

Qualifications

Only applicants with relevant experience will be considered for this position.

Experience in title processing or real estate transactions, ensuring smooth and accurate closings.
Ability to interface effectively with title examiners, underwriters, and loan closers to prepare essential documents.
Proven track record of coordinating with loan officers and mortgage processors to meet closing instructions and underwriting commitments.
Strong skills in examining and verifying documentation accuracy, including public records, deeds, and property title records.
Proficiency in using software programs (especially Qualia) for data entry and tracking applicant progress.
Excellent organizational skills to aid title officers with administrative and clerical tasks.
Detail-oriented mindset to identify discrepancies and ensure clear title production.

Excellent research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are needed
Years of experience (1-3) with real estate transactions or title processing, or as a title company pre-processor or mortgage loan processor is essential
College is an asset but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is a requirement
Certification as a notary public is not required but is appreciated
Computer proficient with numerous programs including MS Office is needed

Compensation

$22 - $35 hourly
