HOMEmade Real Estate is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead and streamline operations for our growing real estate team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building systems, managing timelines, and creating structure behind the scenes. You’ll oversee day-to-day transactions, team coordination, and internal processes—ensuring clients are supported and our business runs efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all administrative functions for real estate listings and transactions
  • Track and enforce deadlines, documentation, and compliance throughout the transaction process
  • Maintain and improve internal systems, SOPs, checklists, and workflow tools
  • Coordinate scheduling for appointments, showings, open houses, and team activities
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless coordination
  • Maintain and update CRM, calendars, and digital file systems
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, print/digital coordination, and basic event logistics
  • Monitor project timelines, team goals, and deliverables with attention to detail
  • Support the lead agent with project implementation and general day-to-day operations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or support role (real estate experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency with CRMs, Google Workspace, and digital project management tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience managing or building workflows, templates, or checklists is highly desirable
  • Real estate license is a plus but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Compensation
$50,000-$60,000 annually

James makes HOMEmade chips and salsas for all of his clients, Open Houses, and regular marketing events, and there are often tacos at the Open Houses to attract buyers. HOMEmade Real Estate is very involved in the communities we serve. James will make food for teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week at many local schools, and solicit donations from the community for school supplies to donate to the local schools during Back-to-School time. HOMEmade Real Estate has a Team at the Annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk in Palm Desert and raises thousands of dollars for the event. Each quarter, James holds a First Time Homebuyer Workshop with free tacos to educate the community about the home-buying process and the benefits of homeownership.
