Who We Are

We are highly specialized California real estate lawyers. Although there are many real estate practice areas, we only focus on two. First, we represent homebuyers in litigation against sellers and the real estate agents for both parties. Second, we represent small business owners in commercial lease litigation against landlords.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for attorneys who want to constantly improve. That means that you want to master legal writing, depositions, and jury trials. You must have the drive to spend 20 hours a week improving your skill set so that you have the ability to win million-dollar jury verdicts. We are looking for lawyers who will happily put in 15 to 20 hours a week reading books and taking the clinics below.

• Manage all aspects of a case from start to finish

• 60-hour workweeks consisting of 40 to 45 hours to meet your billable requirement and 15-20 hours to improve your skill set.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Handle discovery and meet-and-confer efforts

• Take and defend depositions

• Participate in mediations and trial preparation

• Develop a case strategy and apply legal analysis to facts

• Communicate directly with clients

• Collaborate with team members to strengthen work product and strategy

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in legal writing, analysis, and overall litigation skill set

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be a California attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience. If you don't meet the experience requirement, you must demonstrate something exceptional in your background, such as being a college athlete, a law review editor, or something that has distinguished you from your peers.

• This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to work remotely, values feedback, and wants to take a case from start to finish.

Billable Requirement

• The minimum billable requirement is only 1,440 hours billed and collected. We offer incentive compensation bonuses that are paid quarterly for lawyers who exceed the minimum. While our billable requirement is low, the commitment is not.

• 1,440 billable hours annually

• Consistent communication and responsiveness

• Ability to manage deadlines and take ownership of assignments

• Engage in ongoing professional development and actively work to strengthen legal writing, analysis, and litigation skills
