We’re searching for an enthusiastic inside sales representative to join our team, support business growth, and to own the health, organization, and performance of our lead database. This is an individual contributor role at the center of our sales operation — you will be the primary steward of our CRM, responsible for keeping thousands of leads accurately tracked, properly segmented, and consistently worked so nothing falls through the cracks. Responsibilities
Database & CRM Management (Core Focus)
- Own the day-to-day management of the lead database in Follow Up Boss (FUB), ensuring every record is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Identify and reactivate stale, aged, or previously unworked leads through targeted re-engagement campaigns
- Monitor lead routing and distribution to ensure every lead is assigned, worked, and accounted for
- Track database health metrics (lead aging, contact rates, stale lead percentage, source performance) and report findings to leadership
- Flag data gaps, workflow breakdowns, or system inconsistencies and recommend fixes to improve database organization
Lead Conversion & Outreach
- Make high-volume outbound calls to new and existing leads pulled directly from the database
- Respond to inbound leads with speed and urgency (speed-to-lead focus)
- Qualify leads and gather key information to determine readiness and motivation, updating the database accordingly
- Set and confirm appointments for agents on the team
- Follow up with leads consistently using structured, database-driven follow-up sequences
Team & Performance
- Participate in daily huddles, role-play sessions, and team training
- Track personal performance metrics, including dials, contacts, database updates, and appointments set
- Continuously improve scripts, objection handling, and conversion skills
- Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
- Track performance goals and key sales metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure company goals are achieved
- Expand the clientele by finding new business opportunities within specific geographies
- Update customer database regularly to provide the most up-to-date client information to the sales team
- Generate qualified leads for the sales team so they can provide a quick response to customers
Qualifications
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding appointment-setting goals
- Minimum 2 years of inside sales, telemarketing, or phone-based sales experience
- Experience managing a CRM or lead database, including data organization, segmentation, and follow-up systems (Follow Up Boss preferred)
- Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working within structured data systems
- Real estate sales or lead conversion experience (desired)
- Ability to handle objections professionally and pivot conversations effectively
- Self-motivated with a strong personal drive to hit and exceed goals
- Comfortable with high call volume
- Reliable, organized, and accountable to daily activity and data standards
- Must reside within one hour of our Long Beach, CA office, have a valid driver's license, and be able to travel by car
Compensation
$65,000 - $100,000/year
