I am looking for the right person to join our growing team and work directly with me, Tarl Yarber, on acquiring single-family real estate deals in multiple markets.

If you love real estate, analyzing deals, and learning how real investors buy properties at scale, but you’re not quite sure how to break in, this might be your shot.

I’m building a new acquisitions team from the ground up and looking for one sharp, organized, hungry person to work directly with me as a Real Estate Acquisitions Apprentice (Lead Manager).

You’ll be at the front line of finding, screening, and organizing real estate deals for me and our company. This is not a sales job, but it’s fast-paced, analytical, and relationship-oriented.

Role Details

• Type: Part-time to start (20–30 hrs/week), potential to grow into full-time
• Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
• Compensation: Hourly or monthly stipend + bonuses per closed deal (negotiable)
• Growth Path: Apprentice → Junior Underwriter → Acquisitions Manager (we’ll train you all the way up if you earn it)

Compensation: Monthly base + bonus incentives after first 90 days (Everything is TBD based on your experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Screen and organize incoming property leads from agents, wholesalers, and our network
• Run quick initial deal checks (location, price, condition, comps) to filter out bad deals
• Communicate with agents and wholesalers to collect missing info or photos
• Maintain deal pipeline in our CRM (we use tools like Smartsheet, Asana, Google Drive)
• Coordinate local runners for property photos or walk-throughs
• Prepare summary sheets for potential deals that pass initial filters
• Meet weekly with me to review what’s working, what’s not, and learn how to think like a professional investor

Who You Are

• You already love real estate, and you study deals for fun, browse the MLS, analyze flips, or follow the investment space
• You’re organized, detail-oriented, and tech-comfortable (CRM, spreadsheets, file systems)
• You communicate well, both written and verbal, and can build rapport easily with agents/wholesalers
• You’re hungry to learn the business the right way and are willing to start by doing the real work
• You prefer action and results over just talk
• You do not need to be an agent or have flipped before, but experience looking at deals or working with agents helps.
• You have thick skin and a sense of humor (you need both of these, or do not apply)
