Description

We’re looking for an experienced auto lube technician who is ready to give our service customers an excellent experience. You must be able to rotate tires, change light bulbs, change oil and other fluids, and perform other general maintenance duties to be successful in this position. Although not required for this role, having knowledge of the inner workings of various car models is helpful. We prefer that you have prior experience working as an automotive or lube technician. Responsibilities

Drain and refill engine oil, as well as inspect and top off transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids, on customer vehicles
Make sure all work areas and the shop floor are clean, and that all safety rules are observed
Oversee shop inventories by tracking the use of oil and parts and placing new orders for supplies as necessary
Lubricate chassis components and check tire pressure and tread depth
Offer suggestions to consumers for additional services based on mileage and vehicle history

Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a lube technician or related automotive experience desired
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds (or more) is required
High school diploma or equivalent
This position requires excellent customer service skills
Must be capable of safely using tools, car lifts, and other garage equipment

Compensation

$13 - $15/hour
