Our busy shop is seeking an experienced lube technician to join our automotive service team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks and fills, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections. This position requires some knowledge of the mechanical workings of different types of automobiles. Previous experience as a lube technician or automotive technician is desired. Responsibilities

Perform Video inspections and digital inspections of every car that is serviced

Ensure the shop floor and other work spaces are clean, and follow all safety guidelines as required
Provide suggestions for additional maintenance depending on the vehicle's age, mileage, and other factors
Maintain shop inventory by recording oil and parts usage and reordering supplies when needed
Check tire pressure and tread depth, and lubricate chassis components
Conduct oil changes and fluid inspections on customer vehicles, including emptying and refilling engine oil and checking and refilling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids

Qualifications

1+ years of experience as a lube technician or related automotive experience desired
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds (or more) is required
Strong customer service skills
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Comfortable using car lifts, jacks, and other garage equipment safely

Compensation

$15 - $21 hourly
