Join our team at C&L Auto Body, a well-established family-owned MSO operating in 11 NJ locations, such as East Hanover, Kenvil, and Washington. We are currently seeking a proficient Quality Control team member in Washington, NJ, US to contribute to our expansion and improve post-accident customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Ensure Adherence to C&L QA Procedures Across All Departments:

Monitor and verify that all departments are consistently following the established C&L Quality Assurance (QA) processes. This includes maintaining compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards to ensure every vehicle repair meets or exceeds expectations.


Conduct Vehicle Damage Reviews with Customers at Drop-Off and Perform Final Quality Inspections:

Greet customers at the time of vehicle drop-off, thoroughly inspect and document all existing damages with the customer present to establish a clear record. Upon completion of repairs, perform comprehensive final quality inspections to verify that all work has been completed properly and that the vehicle is restored to pre-accident condition or better.


Ensure Repairs Match Final Invoices and Meet Shop Standards:

Confirm that all completed repairs align exactly with the documented estimates and final invoices. Guarantee that the quality and thoroughness of the repairs uphold the shop’s craftsmanship and performance standards before releasing vehicles to customers.


Perform Additional Duties to Support an Efficient and Effective Repair Process: Take on other responsibilities as needed to assist in the smooth operation of the repair process. This may include administrative tasks, internal coordination, customer service support, or logistical duties to prevent delays and maintain workflow efficiency.


Provide Cross-Functional Support to Maintain Process Flow:

Collaborate with different departments, including parts, production, and front office staff, to troubleshoot issues, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure a seamless repair experience for both the customer and the internal team.

Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Team Environment
  • Prior working knowledge of body repairs and parts
  • Prior experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizing
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Able to manage time and be proactive
Compensation
$19 - $23 hourly

We offer full benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, and a 401(k) with a company match. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturdays.
