Property Manager - Hybrid Work

Tide Property Management is looking for a Property Manager who takes ownership.

You’ll be responsible for a scattered-site portfolio of rental homes primarily throughout Summerville, Moncks Corner, and the surrounding area.

That distinction matters.

This isn’t a job where you sit in a leasing office managing one apartment building.

You’ll spend a meaningful part of your week in the field — driving between properties, conducting inspections, meeting residents, checking vacant homes, handling property issues, and occasionally helping with prospect showings.

The rest of the time, you’re the quarterback for your portfolio.

Owners need to trust you. Residents need to know you’ll communicate. And your team needs to know that when something lands on your plate, it gets handled.

You’ll Be Great at This If

• You hate loose ends.

• When an owner asks a question, you want to get them an answer.

• When a resident has an issue, you don’t ignore it and hope it disappears.

• When something doesn’t look right at a property, you’re willing to get in the car and go see it yourself.

• You like being out in the market instead of spending your entire day behind a desk.

• You can drive through Summerville, inspect three houses, meet a resident, check on a turnover, and still keep the rest of your portfolio moving.

• You’re comfortable having hard conversations without making them harder than they need to be.

• Most importantly, you understand that property management is a relationship business.

• Take ownership of a scattered-site residential portfolio

• Spend significant time in the field throughout Summerville and Moncks Corner

• Conduct property inspections, move-in/move-out inspections, and vacant-property checks

• Build strong relationships with property owners and residents

• Coordinate maintenance and make sure problems are actually resolved

• Manage renewals, move-ins, move-outs, resident concerns, and property issues

• Visit properties when an issue requires eyes on the ground

• Occasionally assist with prospect showings when needed

• Work closely with the leasing team to minimize vacancy

• Keep your portfolio organized and stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them

• Property management experience strongly preferred

• Strong owner and resident relationship skills

• Excellent communication and follow-through

• Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership

• Highly organized and able to manage many properties and priorities simultaneously

• Comfortable working independently in the field

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and willingness to drive frequently throughout Summerville, Moncks Corner, and surrounding areas are required
