The Role

Bosi builds and restores the kind of homes that don't get a second chance to be done right — landmark properties, century-old craftsmanship, high-performance new construction where every system has to perform as precisely as it's designed. Running these job sites takes someone who can do both halves of the job at a master level: swing a hammer with the skill a 1902 staircase demands, and run a schedule with the discipline a client's trust demands.

This isn't a foreman role with a fancier title, and it isn't a desk job that occasionally visits a site. You're on-site, hands-on, and fully accountable — for the work, the schedule, the budget, and the experience the client has with Bosi from first walkthrough to final punch list.

What You'll Own

• You'll run job sites the way they should be run: organized, clean, and predictable, with tools staged and materials tracked before anyone asks where something is. You'll manage the schedule and hold subs to it, track budget against real numbers, and flag problems before they become surprises — because historic work means solving problems that didn't exist when the drawings were made, and the job is to solve them without drama.

• You'll also be doing the work yourself when the job calls for it — matching existing trim profiles, correcting for a hundred years of settling, framing to the tolerance a high-performance envelope actually requires. But master carpentry is the floor, not the whole job. When the schedule needs someone to hang insulation, board drywall, or close whatever gap is standing between today and the next trade showing up, that's you too. Keeping the job moving matters more than staying in one lane, and your crew and subs will look to you to solve problems, not just assign them.

• And you'll be the person clients hear from. Not through a coordinator, not through a monthly update — directly, before they have to ask. Clients invite us into their homes and their lives, and that trust is earned through honesty, reliability, and follow-through — every time.

What We're Looking For

• Master-level carpentry ability, with real experience in historic restoration — matching, repairing, and building to standards that respect what's already there — as well as comfort with the framing and detail tolerances high-performance construction requires

• A problem-solver's instinct beyond carpentry — willing and able to pick up insulation, drywall, or whatever other trade task keeps the schedule moving, not just the tasks in your specialty

• Genuine project management experience — scheduling, budget tracking, subcontractor coordination — not just site supervision

• A job site run as it matters, because it does: organized tools, clean space, a site you'd walk a client through without warning

• Direct, professional communication with clients who expect transparency as a baseline, not a bonus

• Comfort working alongside architects and trade partners — we don't build alone, and this role collaborates constantly
