About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and tech-savvy Project-Based Virtual Assistant to support the ongoing development and improvement of the Get Healthy Directory website.

This role will primarily focus on working inside Wix, making website updates, improving layouts, organizing provider listings, and maintaining a professional and user-friendly directory.

The first major project for this role will be redesigning and improving the Get Healthy Directory homepage.

The selected candidate will help create a cleaner, more modern, and user-friendly homepage while maintaining the existing brand identity and making it easier for visitors to understand the directory, search for providers, and navigate the website.

First Project: Homepage Redesign

The VA will begin by helping redesign the Get Healthy Directory homepage, including:

• Reviewing the current homepage and identifying areas for improvement

• Creating a cleaner and more professional Wix layout

• Making important calls-to-action more visible

• Improving navigation for both potential clients and healthcare providers

• Ensuring the homepage clearly communicates what Get Healthy Directory offers

• Improving the presentation of provider search and directory features

• Making sure the homepage looks professional on both desktop and mobile

• Following the existing Get Healthy Directory branding while improving the overall design

• Presenting redesign ideas and implementing approved changes in Wix

About Get Healthy Directory

Get Healthy Directory is a California-based healthcare directory designed to help people find mental health professionals and other healthcare resources.

The directory helps providers showcase important information such as their specialties, populations served, therapeutic approaches, languages, insurance plans, services, and professional information.

Key Responsibilities

• Update, redesign, and maintain pages within the Wix website

• Create, edit, and organize healthcare provider and clinician listings

• Upload provider information, photos, specialties, services, insurance information, and other profile details

• Format website content to maintain a consistent and professional appearance

• Add, update, and organize buttons, links, forms, and page sections

• Check website pages for broken links, formatting issues, missing information, and inconsistencies

• Perform Wix CMS and database updates when needed

• Assist with directory categories, filters, and search-related organization

• Review provider profiles for accuracy before publishing

• Make design and layout improvements while maintaining brand consistency

• Optimize pages for desktop and mobile viewing

• Assist with website quality assurance and functionality testing

• Complete website-related data entry and administrative projects

• Follow project instructions, checklists, and deadlines

• Provide regular updates on completed tasks and items requiring review

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous hands-on experience working with Wix

• Has experience designing or redesigning website pages

• Has a good understanding of clean, modern, and user-friendly website design

• Is comfortable editing website layouts, sections, buttons, navigation, and content

• Has strong attention to detail

• Can follow detailed instructions and established processes

• Can also provide thoughtful suggestions for improving website usability

• Can work independently and manage multiple website tasks

• Can identify website errors and inconsistencies before publishing changes

• Is reliable, responsive, and able to meet project deadlines

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Wix CMS / Content Manager

• Wix dynamic pages

• Wix website redesigns

• Online directories or membership websites

• Healthcare or mental health websites

• Provider or clinician directories

• Basic SEO
