Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting homes and businesses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
Erect scaffolding when required
Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach
Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed

Qualifications

Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required
Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training
Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
A high school diploma or GED is preferred
2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required

Compensation

$17 - $20/hour
