Description

Do you have experience in sign and graphics production, and are you looking for an opportunity to build something from the ground up? We're seeking a Production Manager who will own and shape the production operation of a growing, full-service sign and graphics business from day one.

As our Production Manager, you'll be the engine that keeps our shop running — directing, coordinating, and scheduling production activities to ensure quality output and on-time delivery. You'll develop and implement the workflows, systems, and standards that define how we operate. This is a hands-on role to start, with a clear path to leading and growing a production team as the business scales.

If you thrive in an environment where you have real ownership, where your decisions shape how things are built, and where your standards become the standard — this is the role for you.

If you don’t have hands-on experience with wide-format printing, vinyl, and sign finishing, this role is not the right fit.

  • Assists with equipment and maintenance problems; seeks economical solutions
  • Coordinates with technicians when equipment requires repair

  • Continuously seeks to increase knowledge and attends training as required
  • Monitors inventory, places orders, receives material orders, maintains records, and conducts monthly inventory
  • Ensures production floor, equipment, and workstations are clean and clutter-free
  • Oversees recycling, trash, and waste programs
  • Serves as an ambassador of the Company, administering policies in a professional and respectful manner

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This role begins as a hands-on individual contributor with full ownership of production operations. As the business grows and production staff is added, this role transitions into direct supervision of the production team, encompassing overall direction, coordination, scheduling, evaluation, and leadership.
  • Supervisory responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching employees; scheduling and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing concerns and complaints; and resolving problems.
