Wizlo is looking for a Technical Telehealth Product Manager to own and improve a major product line within our telehealth platform. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who can understand complex healthcare workflows, translate operational and clinical needs into clear product requirements, and work directly with engineering to build scalable, compliant, and user-friendly systems.
This is not a pure project management role and does not require production coding. The ideal candidate is technical enough to work closely with engineers, operational enough to understand real-world telehealth workflows, and product-minded enough to turn messy problems into clear, reusable product solutions.
Depending on experience, this role may own one or more core Wizlo product areas, including payments and subscriptions, forms and intake workflows, clinical encounters and provider network operations, the patient portal, product and pharmacy workflows, AI / Wizzy, and implementation, onboarding, and integrations. Candidates should have deep experience in at least one of these areas and enough technical and operational fluency to understand how their product line connects to the broader telehealth platform, including patients, providers, pharmacies, payments, compliance, support, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own a major Wizlo product area from discovery through release and ongoing improvement.
- Translate business, clinical, compliance, provider, patient, and operational needs into clear product requirements.
- Write product specs, workflow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge-case documentation.
- Partner closely with engineering to scope, prioritize, test, and launch product improvements.
- Work with clinical operations, provider network teams, implementation, support, compliance, and leadership to identify product gaps and workflow issues.
- Review support tickets, customer feedback, and internal operational pain points to identify opportunities for automation and product improvement.
- Ensure product workflows are scalable, configurable, auditable, and appropriate for a regulated telehealth environment.
- Help define product line priorities, roadmap items, and release requirements.
- Test new functionality before release and help train internal teams on product changes.
- Monitor product performance, adoption, support impact, and operational outcomes after launch.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product operations, technical implementation, solutions architecture, healthcare operations, fintech, SaaS, or a related field.
- Experience working with engineering teams to define and deliver software products.
- Strong technical fluency, including comfort with APIs, integrations, data flows, user permissions, system states, and workflow automation.
- Excellent written communication skills, especially in writing clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to reason through complex workflows, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Ability to balance user experience, operational efficiency, compliance risk, and engineering complexity.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Healthcare, telehealth, pharmacy, payments, patient portal, AI, or clinical workflow experience strongly preferred.
Compensation
$100,000 - $100,000/year
