NOTE: Only candidates with Probate Paralegal experience who live within 30 miles of Hartford, CT, will be considered.

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced probate paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. Please note this is an In-House position (not Remote). Candidate must live within 30 minutes of Hartford for consideration.

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of paralegal (probate) experience and knows the basic steps to bring an uncomplicated probate matter from start to finish in a timely manner. This position requires the candidate to draft legal documents, keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible, and engage in direct contact with clients.

• Maintain organized files and adhere to all court and internal deadlines
• Frequent phone contact with clients
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings under the supervision of a lawyer
• Assist with client meetings
• Legal Research
• Work with lawyers to prepare for hearings by conducting research; preparing and organizing files, e-filing documents, and related matters
