Description
Core Values:
Our educators are responsible for and will provide children with the education and experiences needed to ensure early success and school readiness. Parent involvement is critical in the development of a child. We form a partnership with parents by providing newsletters and daily information sheets on what their child has learned each day.
We will provide a safe atmosphere where children can learn to communicate and express themselves among peers. We value learning and understand that children learn in different ways. We encourage intrinsic motivation and want each child to recognize their strengths and feel confident as they become ready to enter the next age level. We value respect for each child, family, and staff member.
Work Environment:
Helping children grow, learn, and gain new skills can be very rewarding. Our Educators will be responsible for planning and implementing curriculum for children ages Pre-K and Kindergarten. They must ensure the development and safety of these children are a priority and align with Steeplechase Academy's core values and are in compliance with the State of Missouri's Department of Education. Educators will be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

About Steeplechase Academy
Steeplechase Academy is a modified-Montessori private preschool and elementary school that blends the child-centered philosophy of Montessori education with the structure and enrichment of a traditional academic program. We are committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively—within a warm, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
At the heart of our program is the belief that children learn best through purposeful exploration, hands-on experiences, and meaningful choice. Inspired by the work of Maria Montessori, our classrooms are thoughtfully prepared to encourage independence, concentration, and a love of learning. Students are guided to take ownership of their education while developing responsibility, confidence, and intrinsic motivation.
