The Personal Injury Case Manager serves as the primary point of contact for injured clients throughout the life of their claim. This role is responsible for coordinating medical treatment, maintaining regular communication with clients, obtaining and organizing records, monitoring case progress, and assisting attorneys with case development. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies.
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment status, case updates, and outstanding needs.
Assist clients in locating and scheduling appropriate medical treatment when necessary.
Obtain and review medical records, bills, lien information, and treatment updates.
Monitor clients' treatment progress and follow up on missed appointments or gaps in care.
Document all client interactions and case activities in the firm's case management system.
Gather and organize evidence, including accident reports, wage loss documentation, photographs, and witness information.
Coordinate communication with healthcare providers regarding treatment plans and medical records requests.
Assist attorneys in preparing demand packages and case summaries.
Track deadlines and ensure case requirements are completed in a timely manner.
Address client concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
Escalate complex issues or client complaints to the supervising attorney or manager.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all firm policies and legal requirements.
- Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work
- Associate's degree preferred but not required to apply
- Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn to use new programs
- Customer service, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is preferred
- Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication
Compensation
$45,000 - $52,000 yearly
