We're looking for a healthcare professional who is passionate about helping patients as our next physical therapist. You will work with people who have mobility issues after surgery or an injury, and help them develop a treatment plan. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating personalized health and fitness plans for patients while also providing them with physical therapy to alleviate pain and improve mobility. Our ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of patient issues and will also be up-to-date on the most recent developments in treatment. Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Review the data gathered from the patient's tests and examinations, then make recommendations based on your findings
Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor
Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient
Ask patients about their physical status, including any injuries or mobility concerns

Qualifications

Must be a licensed physical therapist in the state of TX

This position requires excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills
We require a bachelor’s degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
We prefer candidates with some previous experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting
Must have a current state license to practice in the state you reside in
Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required for this position

Compensation

$85,000 - $95,000 yearly

Kidtherapy is a multidisciplinary outpatient pediatric clinic that is therapist-owned and managed. We do only clinic-based services and a small amount of teletherapy. KidTherapy's pediatric therapy facility has over 4,000 square feet of fully equipped space. We offer two sensory gyms, an orthopedic gym, and four private treatment rooms.
