Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, depending on experience

Wood Injury Law is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our Mesa office.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands personal injury case management and can step into an existing caseload and begin managing files immediately.

A minimum of two years of personal injury case management experience is required.

Our Case Managers are responsible for owning their caseload, maintaining strong client communication, monitoring treatment, staying ahead of outstanding records and balances, and continuously moving cases toward demand and settlement.

You should be comfortable independently managing a full caseload.

Spanish is not required, but bilingual Spanish/English candidates are strongly preferred.

We are looking for experienced people who take pride in managing their cases well and want to be part of a growing firm.

If you have significant personal injury case management experience and are comfortable taking ownership of a substantial caseload from day one, we would like to hear from you.

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule

  • $55,000–$65,000 annual salary, depending on experience

  • 4-day work week

What You'll Do

  • Independently manage a full caseload of pre-litigation personal injury cases

  • Manage cases from intake through demand and settlement

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide meaningful case updates

  • Monitor medical treatment and identify gaps or delays

  • Communicate with medical providers and insurance adjusters

  • Obtain and track medical records and bills

  • Verify medical balances and liens

  • Identify and track bodily injury, UM/UIM, MedPay, and other applicable insurance coverage

  • Maintain accurate and current case notes and case management records

  • Identify files that are ready for demand and move them into the demand process

  • Coordinate with attorneys and legal assistants regarding case strategy and outstanding issues

  • Follow up on demands, insurance responses, and settlement negotiations

  • Identify problems before they delay the case

  • Keep cases actively moving toward resolution

Required Experience

This position requires at least two years of experience working as a Personal Injury Case Manager.

You should already be comfortable with:

  • Managing a substantial personal injury caseload

  • Automobile accident claims

  • Bodily injury claims

  • UM/UIM claims

  • Medical payments coverage

  • Medical records and billing

  • Insurance adjuster communications

  • Client communications

  • Treatment monitoring

  • Demand preparation and the pre-litigation settlement process

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. This is not a position where we will be teaching the fundamentals of personal injury case management.

  • Can comfortably manage 80–90 active cases

  • Communicates well with clients

  • Knows when a case is stalled and takes action

  • Understands what needs to happen before a case is ready for demand

  • Follows up consistently

  • Documents your work

  • Handles multiple deadlines and priorities without losing track of files

  • Raises issues to the attorney before they become emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of personal injury case management experience

  • Experience managing 80+ active personal injury cases

  • Experience with Filevine or similar personal injury case management software

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Experience handling cases through demand and settlement

Compensation

$55,000 - $65,000 Annually
