Our busy home health agency is rapidly growing, and we’re seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to clients. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and 1-3 years of experience working as an HHA or caregiver. You’ll assist our patients with companionship, basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so that they are empowered to live happily at home. Responsibilities

Facilitate personal care tasks like scheduling appointments, calling doctors’ offices, coordinating Medicare and other insurance details
Mitigate issues with medications by helping to open bottles, organizing self-administered dosing, and arranging for refills, and help the patient with meal preparation and planning
Maintain psychological and emotional support for patients and family members - provide quality companionship
Drive patients as needed, for grocery shopping, running errands, or doctors’ visits, when necessary
Take care of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, bed making, laundry, etc.

Qualifications

Completion of home health aide training programs from community colleges are acceptable - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills are valuable, as is a compassionate, empathetic, and kind personality
Must have 1-3 years of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/ home health aide, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency at patient homes or care facilities setting
Carry a valid state driver’s license, current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation
Pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical, and possess current CPR certification and first aid training

Compensation

$25 - $30 hourly
