We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll accurately and on time for a multi-state workforce. This role is responsible for all aspects of payroll administration, including employee onboarding and terminations, wage and salary changes, payroll audits, tax withholdings, garnishments, benefit deductions, and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. The Payroll Specialist will serve as a key resource for employees regarding payroll-related questions and will work closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and management to ensure payroll accuracy and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion. Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems is non-negotiable and required for consideration. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, timekeeping systems, and regulatory compliance. Experience with payroll reconciliations, year-end reporting (W-2s), and resolving payroll discrepancies is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be proactive, dependable, and committed to delivering accurate payroll services in a fast-paced environment.

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for our multi-state workforce, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting to manage employee onboarding, terminations, and wage changes efficiently.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies promptly.
  • Handle tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefit deductions with precision and confidentiality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing clear and supportive guidance.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Utilize ADP payroll systems to streamline processes and enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency consistently.
  • Experience in processing payroll for a multi-state workforce, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Human Resources and Accounting teams to manage employee onboarding, terminations, and wage changes.
  • Ability to conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and promptly identify discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in handling tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefit deductions with precision and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing clear and supportive guidance.
  • Experience in maintaining and updating payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems to streamline processes and enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency consistently.

Compensation

$45,000 - $65,000 per year
