Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits and evidence.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and court appearances to optimize workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
  • Support attorneys during court proceedings by taking notes and managing documents efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience in family or personal injury law, with at least one year as a paralegal.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite to streamline document management.
  • Ability to draft and review legal documents with precision and compliance.
  • Proven track record of assisting attorneys in trial preparation and managing court documents.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain and update client files efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and information gathering.
  • Experience in conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies and advisories.

Compensation

$37,000 - $55,000 yearly
